As professionals in education, we know that parents know their children best. We leave parenting to parents! Our focus is on teaching to achieve the best outcome for your child. No politics, personal agendas, or distractions. We respect the parent-school relationship and actively include our parents in their children’s achievements and progress while respecting the role parents have in their child’s development.
The broad range of backgrounds, beliefs, nationalities, and cultures that families come from strengthen and broaden our school community. We acknowledge and respect each and every student for who they are. Teachers take the time to know each student individually, creating a comfortable environment in which learning flourishes. With a class of 15, your child will have a well-developed relationship with their teacher. Every child gets the attention they deserve, and no one is allowed to disrupt the learning of others.
Transitions between schools are often a source of anxiety for both parents and students. At InnovOak we only have two transitions: your first day of school and your graduation. The JK-12 model eliminates the stress of transitions and loss of learning that occurs as students transfer between schools. Maximizing learning time and maintaining a positive school environment, parents and students can be comfortable and confident coming to InnovOak each day.
Safety and Wellbeing
Parents can trust in the safety and wellbeing of their students at InnovOak School everyday. Considerations for safety are at the forefront of everything we do, making sure each student is happy and comfortable. We segment our student groups to allow for appropriate and healthy interactions. Individual attention from teachers ensures that students are heard and cared for, addressing any issues immediately and age appropriately.
No Surprise Guarantee
InnovOak standards of communication ensure regular contact between home and school. There should be no surprises when it comes to your child’s education. You know where your child’s progress is at all times. Through parent conferences, interview, teacher communication, and the student success team, student progress is assessed and shared. Parents are made aware of progress long before any problems arise.
Involving Parents
InnovOak School is always happy to hear from parents. Regular communication and updates on student progress is the way we support student success and ensure families are aware of their child’s achievements. The Principal’s Parent Advisory Council (PPAC) allows parents to be positively involved in their child’s education and school life. It offers parents the chance to share their skills, expertise and connections within the InnovOak community.
