Additional Class Time allows for Enriched Learning Opportunities
As a JK – Grade 12 school, InnovOak has standardized Bell Times across the grades. Students from Kindergarten to Middle School get an additional 45 minutes of learning time built into the day. The extended school day incorporates additional time spent on mastering basics while exploring new challenges, our graduates will have the equivalent of 2 extra school years of learning in a JK-Grade 12 experience! We understand the significance of this extra time and are dedicated to using every moment for student success.
Student Activities and Extracurriculars
Rather than force students to partake in extracurriculars and activities that don’t represent their interests, we are considering student passions and curiosity in what we do. Offering a full range of student activities and extracurriculars, we base them on student interest so they can explore and learn in positive and meaningful ways. Activities change term to term or year to year to reflect our students, we regularly ask and look for ways to continue to enrich each student’s InnovOak experience.
The LifeReady Experience
InnovOak School’s signature LifeReady program is designed to create well-rounded, thoughtful individuals, and contributing members of society. Encompassing every grade, students learn crucial skills for life-long success as they develop. Skills are taught from day one and culminate in students who are prepared for adulthood when they graduate.
A Variety of Relationships are Important to build Community
A connected and comfortable school environment is crucial in developing student passions and excitement for learning. We know if takes a village to raise a child. Staff interact and build relationships with students at every grade level to develop a sense of community and belonging. Teachers are professionally and personally invested in the success of all students as they watch them grow and develop from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
